Advisor for Cyber, Artificial Intelligence and disruptive technologies, French Ministry of Armies, Paris

Emmanuel Bresson is Advisor for Cyber, AI and Disruptive Technologies within the French Ministry of Armies, in the Directorate-General for International Relations and Strategy. He noticeably led the ministerial taskforce which elaborated the AI Strategy for Defence. In his previous roles, he worked for several years in the defence industry in Airbus Group, in the Cybersecurity division, as a director of international projects. Before this, he served in the French National Cyber Agency (ANSSI) and in the Directorate General for Armament, as a cryptography expert. He has maintained regular research activities until 2015 and published his work in international conferences and papers. He has also taught in several engineering schools and universities. Emmanuel Bresson holds a engineering diploma from Ecole Polytechnique and a PhD in cryptography from Ecole Normale Superieure.
